68'' Odachi, Katana Longsword
68" Odachi Longsword.
In the Sengoku period Japan, the Samurai warriors were eager to prove themselves on the field of battle—both to take their enemies’ land—and perhaps a few heads for glory. They used weapons like the fearsome Ōdachi Longsword, a weapon too big to be worn on the hip, but perfect for taking down an enemy horse and rider. This Ōdachi features an impressive 51” long blade of Katana quality. The handle is black cord wrapped and the Tsuba features a striking dragon themed aesthetic. This blade makes an impressive and imposing display piece.
