Carbon Steel Crusader Sword
37.5" Carbon Steel Stage Combat Crusader Sword.
From the call of Pope Urban II in 1096 AD, to the fall of Malta in 1565 AD; the constant companion to the European warrior was his trusted weapon. Though the act of, "taking the cross" had a life span of almost 500 years, the apex of common romantization comes from the 12th and 13th centuries. Much like the people, the swords began to change. This sword is a great indicator of that change. With the straight cross trees and cross in the pommel, this would have become very popular.
This sword features a 30" Carbon Steel blade. The blade is blunted for light stage combat and contact.
The overall Length is 37.5"
The Crosstree and Pommel are cast Iron and are securely fastened to the blade.
The thick leather scabbard has an integrated leather belt.
The Handle is a matching black leather.
It weighs just under 3 lbs.
