For the price, this set is magnificent! It's hard to find a good singular sword for only $100, but the quality of this set is amazing. I bought it as a display only piece, but the quality is what surprised me immediatly.
First, the set is more beautiful in real life than in the picture. The handle is nicely wrapped and the blade is nicely pollished to a mirror finish. They fit snugly in the hard sheaths. I swung the katana around quite a bit, and not a single ounce of wobble could be felt. The blade is perfect, and decently sharpened for a sword made for displaying. The balance feels great and it quickly became a favorite piece in my growing collection. I didn't dare hit anything with this sword, and don't buy it expecting to cut things up. You wouldn't want to damage this beautiful sword set. But swinging it around is no problem, as I spent some good time with it on the first night with no wear on the handle wrapping. For the price, you won't find anything better, I promise. Knowing what I know now about the quality, I would have payed more.
