Indeed, the most wonderful part of this blade is its hefty feel. I don't want to throw it in the traditional form; I want to heave it forward with all my might. And, actually, this method works just as if not better than the 'proper' style. Beware that the sharpened edge extends only an inch or two beyond the topmost tip, despite the sharper appearance. Hence, this blade must meet its target headlong in order to do any more damage than a simple one-hit knockout.

I just recieved this knife yesterday and my fist impression was: WOW! The balance is perfect, it has a good hefty feel, and let me tell you it can sure take a beating. But this knife does take a while to learn to throw properly if you're used to throwing shuriken or lighter knives, so if you're planning on getting this knife expect to see some scatches on the blade but nothing "too" serious (and please note that the blade only goes up a certain amount on the knife) I give it 8 1/2 of 10!
