The Kukri is the traditional field knife carried by the Nepalese soldiers working for the British army, collectively known as "Ghurkas". Approx. 30,000 Nepalese apply every year to become one of these highly trained and motivated warriors yet only 200 get accepted. The Ghurkas first fought under British rule in 1817 and have served honorably since.
The Ghurka Kukri features a 12" blade constructed from hand forged carbon steel. Full tang and solid wood handle with 2 accessory knives. Also includes regimental sheath and is 18" overall.
