This was given to me as a gift, i adviced my friend to buy it from this site cause i had seen it earlier. It is a great shaken, it is sturdy and sharp, it cuts and sticks to wood and other pierceable materials. A great shaken indeed.

This is one awsome star! I own many a throwing star, however this is by far the best I have. It's small and deadly sharp. If they deside to release this star is a box set of 10 or 12 you can count me in as a buyer. A must have for any true Ninja. Very nice work!

These stars were the first sharp thing I've gotten from this site, and they Rule! My friend and I were Practiceing with them, and I threw one so hard, it went through his drywall. Awsome star.

This shuriken is amazing. If thrown properly, accuracy is amazing and makes a nice little 'shing' noise when it leaves your hand. The edges are sharpened but you'd have to put pressure and drag your finger along the edge to cut. The points are very sharp, and being so depending on what you throw it at, they can flatten or bend very easily (especially a lot of hardwoods). I'd recommend practising on some insulation styrofoam or a corkboard target. Well worth your money, buy some now!

Lovely shuriken.. very sharp. Consequently however, the tips become bent and the edges dull quite quickly... However i'm sure it can be sharpened and they're always cheap to buy some more anyway..

This is one heck of a shuriken! The blades themselves aren't incredably sharp but the tips can peirce about any type of dead wood (as I found out throwing it at my dresser), and I assume any thing softer than that. I couldn't get it to stick into any trees though (at least not the ones around my house).
Be careful that you don't hit them against anything hard like rock or metal because they do dent if youre not careful.
other than that, this is an incredibly fun weapon to throw around.

"Full Contact Use" doesn't even begin to desscribe this stunning little treasure. It has a perfect weight to it and stick EVERY time. I love this star. Not only is it amazing to look at, but also it can really take a beating. I've been tossing it into an oak door for a week and it's not taken a scratch or dulled one bit!! This is a must buy!

After ordering this star, it didn\'t arrive until three days after Swords On Line said it would, but that has nothing to do with the star itself. Its very accurate (as far as shuriken go) and easy to thow, but not as sharp as I thought it would be. All the previous reviews that I had read told me it was very sharp, but if you put your finger on the blade and slide it down the edge, it will give you a paper cut at most. The points, though, are very sharp, which probably acounts for how easy it is to stick into a surface. It will stick to cardboard almost every time, as well as wood. Overall it is a very good star - I was just slightly disapointed that it wasn\'t as sharp as the other reviews told me it would be.

I just got this today, and I must say that I'm surprised by the weight of it. however, it's a little bit small. I have rather big hands, so I'm still trying to find a way to throw it comfortably.
anyhow, I took it into my basement and was throwing it at a cardboard box, and I tried it udnerhand, and miss. it stuck 3 points into the wall, and didn't bend at all! and it's still sharp! I can cut paper with it! :D

These are good but unexceptional throwing stars. While other reviewers have found them heavy, they are the only stars I have owned, so I can't compare, though I do not find them heavy at all, just right in my mind. However, like anything else, they take practice to get good with and I have gotten reasonably accurate.
They are without question sharp enough to cut or to stick into most surfaces (wood, walls, people, etc. so be careful), however I have found that they do not hold their edge for a very long time. Will require periodic sharpening depending on how often they are used.

This shuriken is pretty good. It is small and light, so a little awkward in larger hands like mine. The edges are not as sharp as others are saying; I doubt that one could cut me no matter how hard I tried. The points, however, are somewhat sharp. They stick into boxes quite well.
This is good for its price, although it is a bit lighter and smaller than most would probably want.

I've bought 5 of these little beauties and i've had them roughly for a year or so. I've thrown them at plywood tables, doors, dressers and pretty much anything else that's wood and I don't mind hitting. I remember one day I was throwing at my target outside and I had a bad throw. The shuriken missed horribly and went pretty much straight for the ground. Well, in it's path was a patio brick, and I though "Well, so much for that one.". After recovering the shuriken not only did I notice only one of the tips was *barely* bent, there was a gouge in the patio brick. I've loved them since.

I JUST got this, literally (around 30 minutes ago) and I\'m highly pleased. It looks wonderful and the symbols give it an authentic feel. However, I\'m disappointed that they decided to put a \'made in china\' sticker right on the star itself, even if on the back. It left a sticky residue when I removed it, and marrs the appearance alot. Although some Goo-gone or WD-40 will remove that.
All in all, very pleased.

This is one of my 1st purchases from weaponmasters.com, and this thing is awesome! It's VERY sturdy and quite sharp. Right out of the box the tips were amazingly sharp. I immediately tested it's edge on a pine tree, and it stuck very good in the tree. Took it out and it was still in perfect condition! I even missed the tree a few times and it hit some concrete pretty hard, and the edges are STILL awesome!
It's a definant buy for anyone of any age! I mean $5 for such an awesome throwing star? Just wow..
Plus the little Japanese writings on the star give it a nice touch.
