The original use of caltrops was intened to slow the enemy down if a Ninja was being chased. It was an escape weapon designed to fall perfectly with it's four points each turned in a different direction. That way when they landed one of more points was always pointing upward and would hinder the pursuit of any party. These caltrops are black in color and come in a pack of ten.
