The Black Imperial Dragon Samurai Set includes a katana, wakizashi, tanto and black laquered wood three sword display stand. The Imperial Samurai were a group of warriors that depending on their color guarded different parts of the Imperial palace. The Black Imperial Dragon Guard patrolled the fortress walls and grounds of the Imperial compound during the night, and were never seen by commoners. If they were seen during the night while on duty they were dishonored and left their position in disgrace. All three swords have 440 stainless steel blades with gold finished tsuba, scabbard throat and end cap. With yellow and black cord tie on each black scabbard and engraved dragon handle the Black Imperial Dragon Samurai Set is worthy of any collection.
